Coast Ghost

Based on a story part-told in a poem by Henry Kendall, who spend time in this district, and part-told in a piece by Bill Beatty published in the SMH which were in turn based in district stories. I used the story framework for this version with added description and interpretation in a return to verse. The repeated last line is optional and was there when I'd given the verse a tune which I later discarded.
