There are so many Aussie Parodies to this English Traditional song I thought I'd add mine which I have used for years in schools. At least it does try to properly parody the original and is not JUST a list of Oz Images. These words are an adaption of those for a Traditional tune easily found in existing collections.

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

A Kookaburra in a gumtree.  (Clap Clap)

Two Currawongs and a Kookaburra etc.

Turtle Doves

Three Mallee hens, two Currawongs etc.
French Hens
On the Fourth day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Four Wattle Birds
Calling Birds

On the Fifth day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Five Kangaroos on a dollar.
(NB: Slip in these words, 'On a Dollar' and half-say them after singing 'five kangaroos', remembering that a dollar is a gold ring.)
